courses are open to anyone who has an interest in Talking
Mats and their use and courses will be tailored to your
service training requirements.

Talking
Mats and Dementia Training: Training
specifically for care home staff has been funded by
the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. This will take place
later in the year at 4 venues around the UK. The courses
in England, Ireland and Scotland are now FULL, however
further Dementia training will be scheduled for the

Dementia
Workshops - Wales: Workshops subsidised
by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation will take place on
20 October and 10 November at Wales Council
for Voluntary Action in Cardiff. For further
