Foundation Training: Face to Face

Talking Mats is delighted to say that our face to face training is now taking place at three different locations around the UK: Manchester, Glasgow, and London. We are also waiting to confirm a Birmingham venue for 2026.

This one day course is perfect for anyone who would like to learn how to effectively use the award-winning Talking Mats framework to better support those with communication difficulties.

What?

During the course you will learn what Talking Mats are and who can use them. You will also learn about the evidence to support them, and how using them can be beneficial for both the listener and the thinker. During interactive sessions you will watch and reflect on videos, get a chance to practice and reflect on your Talking Mats use, and think about how you will use Talking Mats creatively in your own practice.
