We will store data electronically either in email folders on a remote certain server or on local drives on our IT equipment. We will also store certain hard copies of documents. All personal data held electronically will be password protected & data held on hard copies will be protected in locked filing cabinets/drawers.

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online, by phone and mail. We will access data held electronically & manually only when it is necessary to do so in order to deliver our stated organisational objectives.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential.

When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive / credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

We do not store payment card details nor do we share customer details with any Third Parties.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We will not share any personal identifiable information with other companies.

We may however, release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

You are in control of your data

Under GDPR you have the right to ask for your information to be amended or deleted.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information.

If you would like to stop receiving marketing communication from us, please contact us by emailing us at info@talkingmats.com  and we will remove you from our database. Alternatively you can click unsubscribe on the link at the bottom of our newsletters.

If the information we hold on you needs to be updated please contact us at info@talkingmats.com and will send you a Personal Information Amendment form to complete.
