Focused Foundation Training

A full day online course that will cover Foundation Training and focus on a specific Advanced Resource.

Aimed at anyone who has not completed the Foundation Training but would like to use the following Resources.

Foundation Training will help you to; 

• Use Talking Mats to support people to share their feelings, thoughts and views.   

• Learn how issues that arise can be explored further through careful planning.  

• Reflect on your own communication. 

• Discover Talking Mats research and evidence base.  

The advanced focus will provide; 

• An overview of the Sexual Health and Relationships Resource 

• Best practice examples  

• Impact stories 

• Discussion around implementing the Resource in practice. 

Participants will be expected to submit a short film of themselves carrying out a mat for reflection and feedback. 

The course will be delivered over 2 sessions with a 3^rd feedback session.

• Wednesday 15th April 10.00am – 12.30pm
• Wednesday 22nd April 10.00am – 12.30pm
• Video Reflection Sessions (4 participants per 1 hour session): Wednesday 06/05/26 OR Thursday 07/05/26

Participants must attend all 3 sessions to pass the course.
